🚨 🇺🇸 US military tells ships to avoid unnecessary Hormuz transits
- 🇺🇸 The US military advised vessels with no need to move between ports in the Gulf of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz to stay away, citing the current geopolitical situation and possible delays from enforcing its blockade of Iranian ports (newswires, first reported about )
- Iranian attacks on ships have approached 30 so far in October, although Gulf oil flows are reported to be running close to pre-war levels
FO view: Telling neutral shipping to keep clear points to tighter blockade enforcement and keeps Hormuz transit risk live even with flows near normal.
