🚨 🇮🇷 🇴🇲 Iran says a supertanker hit a mine in Hormuz, the third tanker ablaze today, as Oman's navy evacuates a burning ship
- 🇮🇷 The IRGC Navy says a supertanker carrying more than 2 million barrels of oil exploded after hitting a naval mine on an unauthorised route through the Strait of Hormuz and has been abandoned at the mouth of the strait, according to Iranian state media (newswires, )
- Tehran calls it the third tanker to explode and catch fire today; the ship, its flag and any casualties have not been independently confirmed
FO view: Brent has barely reacted so far, so the market is still pricing the talks over the tankers.
