🚨 🇾🇪 🇸🇦 Houthis call for Aden airport evacuation, citing Saudi arms flight
- 🇾🇪 The Houthis' military spokesperson called for the immediate evacuation of Aden airport in southern Yemen, saying a 🇸🇦 Saudi military cargo plane was there delivering weapons (group statement carried by newswires, )
- It follows unconfirmed reports from about of a Yemeni attack on Saudi-backed forces in Aden, and a regional TV report that a ballistic missile landed at the airport (not confirmed by officials)
FO view: A Houthi threat against a Saudi-linked site widens the Gulf conflict beyond Iran and the US and adds to the supply risk premium already in oil after this morning's Iranian rejection of Qatar's ideas.
