🚨 🇯🇵 Tokyo CPI mixed before the BoJ, jobless rate falls and output jumps

• 🇯🇵 Tokyo October headline CPI rose 2.8% y/y vs 2.7% expected and 2.7% prior (newswires, Thu 23:30 GMT, Fri 03:30 Dubai)
• 🇯🇵 Core CPI excluding fresh food was 2.6%, in line with forecasts and down from 2.7%

FO view: A hotter headline, a tighter labour market and strong factory output are offset by slower underlying inflation and weak retail sales, so the data gives the BoJ no strong push either way ahead of today's decision.
